GO tell others about Jesus
And now we GO! We have talked about what it means to KNOW Jesus. We have discussed ways to GROW to be like Jesus. And now we have to GO tell others about Jesus. I know many of you are already telling others about Jesus, but we need to get better about it and do it more frequently. We have a world that is lost without the love of Jesus, and they need his followers to tell them what they are missing.

I am reminded of our time studying the Ethiopian official who was reading the scroll of Isaiah. He said in Acts 8:31, when Phillip was asking him if he understood what he was reading, “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” We have people around us asking meaningful questions about the Bible. Spiritual discussions are happening: the question is, are we going to engage or ignore?
Are you able to tell people your story? Are you able to tell people why you believe in Jesus? Are you able to tell people why you believe the Bible? These are all answers that we need to have in our minds and be able to share simply with people.
This month we are talking about telling our story, telling our neighbors, telling our family and telling the world. Let’s engage people with the good news of Jesus everywhere we go.
So the challenge for the weeks, months and years to come is:
GO tell others about Jesus.
Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
