A Brief History of Madison Christian Church
Madison Christian Church was founded on November 9, 1975, when 100 believers came together to begin this new ministry. The congregation first met at the M. R. Center on Bixby Road (now Arc Industries Bixby Center) until the original Worship Center was built in 1977 and dedicated in April 1978.
Under the leadership of our first minister, Randy Snyder, the church grew steadily and Madison Christian School opened in 1978. Over the next decade, new classrooms, offices, and a multipurpose room were added to serve the needs of both the church and school.
In 1995 the Worship Center was remodeled, and in 1996, Paul Barnes became our second minister. That same year, construction began on the Activity Center, which added classrooms, a kitchen, and a gymnasium. Additional classrooms and gathering spaces were added in later years.
The current Worship Center, completed in 2002, was built with the dedication and service of countless volunteers who gave their time and talents to the Lord.
And the Church Moves Forward…
For 50 years, God has been faithful to Madison Christian Church. From our humble beginnings to the thriving ministries of today, we celebrate His provision and look forward to the next chapter of ministry together.
Madison Christian School

From preschool through 12th grade, the school provides a Christ-centered, classical education that combines strong academics with biblical truth and character development.
