Sacred Alters and Holy Offerings

Description:

During Summer quarter 2025 (June 1 – August 31) we will explore the topic of “Sacred Alters and Holy Offerings.”  This summer quarter continues to explore scriptural themes around worship, sacrifice, and offerings.

  • Unit 1 looks back to the earliest of sacrificial altars in Genesis (which preceded the Temple).
  • Unit 2 considers Jesus’s relationship with the Temple.
  • Unit 3 reflects further on themes of sacrifice in the new covenant. 

We will explore these areas of study as we engage in the 2025 Summer Quarter ABF Bible study.

The class assembly time is 10:30 AM in MCC Room 754. Classes are always casual, interactive, and Bible centered. Everyone is welcome. Tom Brisker facilitates.

The Book of Judges
