This year Jonathon Barnes and I co-wrote the Holy Week Devotional. It was a privilege to work with him, he has good writing skills, and he had his completed long before mine were. Without a doubt, this year we have received more feedback than any other year we have undertaken this project. (Maybe we needed to add Jonathon as co-author a long time ago!)
I can honestly say that writing this devotional was our pleasure. We are so happy that people found it to be meaningful and that the writings made an impact on people’s lives. Anytime you get to consider the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and his victory over death on Easter, it is the highest honor. Chick-fil-a staff members always respond to requests in a specific way. Whether you ask for a drink refill, a few more ketchup packages (that would be me, bring on the ketchup), or you need help cleaning up the mess your grandchild made in the restaurant – the answer is always the same, “My pleasure.” “With pleasure.” Well, I assure you, we took lots of pleasure from writing and distributing this devotional.
Please remember that this Sunday, April 10, we are back to one in-person worship service at 10:30 a.m. We will be live-streamed at 10:30 on all platforms! No Wednesday Night Ministries this week. Have a great Spring Break.
