A Great Night

Sunday, November 6 was our “Night to Help End Hunger.” We came together for a terrific night of worship, and we collected food for the Groveport Food Pantry. We learned that the needs of the people served by the Pantry are up in the post-pandemic period and with current economically unsettled times.
The picture above captures the essence of the evening. Much of the music for the night was led by the “Ladies of Grace” in the center of the stage. They were accompanied by a wonderful worship band. Matt Archibald and the “Ladies of Grace” worked together to lead us in the final segment of worship. On the tables that were placed throughout the auditorium, you can see some of the food items that were collected, and we had a time in the service where we surrounded the tables with the food and sought God’s blessing on the food and those who would be the recipients.
I would be hard pressed to find a better way to spend a Sunday evening – lifting up our hearts in praise to God and assisting a vital local ministry.
Thanks go to:
Matt Archibald for organizing the evening
The “Ladies of Grace” for the leading of worship
The Worship Band for providing excellent accompaniment
As always, those in the sound booth that provided such important help: Scott, Mark, J.D., and Ramona.
Every person that attended and brought food that became part of a wonderful offering that will help with food insecurity (hunger) right here in our own community.
