Christ in Youth's MOVE 2010

It's time!  Time to register for this year's CIY MOVE conference! 

MOVE is a 5-day high school only event held all over the country, designed to amplify the call of Christ on student lives to become Kingdom workers for the sake of the Gospel. They are located at college campuses across the nation. They provide the lights, the sound, and the speakers. All you need to do is fill a seat. Here’s what to expect:

• High school intentional culture. No junior high drama here.
• Truth. Fresh, engaging, and energizing biblical messages.
• How do you worship God? Students will connect through song, art, film, and service.
• Hours of free time throughout the day to chase a Frisbee, win a dodge ball tournament, or take a nap (you’ll need one when this week is over).
• An event that is not a one-shot, emotional roller coaster.  MOVE designs action plans for students to fill out alongside their leaders.  MOVE launched the first Kingdom worker website, www.WeAmplify.com to help students realize that they are not alone.

MOVE is the premier high school event. God is leading…are you following?

This year we are attending MOVE at Lee University in Cleveland TN.  The dates are July 12-17.  MOVE is open to all students entering 9th grade in the fall through graduated seniors.  Total registration cost for MOVE this year is $200.  In order to register you must turn in a $50 deposit by June 13th.  The deposit can be turned in to either Justin or the church office.  Students must bring filled out medical release forms for both Madison Christian Church and CIY when we leave on July 12.  The MCC Teens Medical Release Form can be found here and the CIY Medical form can be found here.  A letter with more specific details will go out about 2 weeks before we leave.  We will be meeting at the church on the 12th and riding a charter bus down to Lee University.
