Madison Christian Church

We believe that strength comes from connections; both to each other and to God. The in Corinthians 12:12, the Bible says "The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ."

To foster this belief we want to offer as many connection points as possible. Here are the available groups:

We constantly hear from the experts about balanced lifestyles—that we need proper rest, nutrition, and exercise. It’s true enough that we need such things to maintain physical and mental health, but we also need spiritual balance. How do we manage all of that and the challenges of daily life? Only God can guide us toward the balance we desperately desire. It starts with our heart and this study will help us get there.

Men's Connection Class

This class will be focusing on getting back to the basics and growing deeper in our walk with the Lord, making lasting friendships, and having fun. We answer such questions, as is the Bible the word of God, who is God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? We will be sure to make room to discuss current events (the Buckeye’s) with the goal of connecting each man who attends to God, other men, and Madison Christian Church.

This study will be taken from The Old Testament books of Exodus and Psalms. The study will focus on knowing God as we look at His covenant history, His rich provision, and some unique qualities of His character. We will strive to grow in our relationship with God as we learn more about Him and about living to please Him. Everyone is welcome!

Daniel

We will be studying the book of Daniel and examining not only the study of the sovereignty of God at the time of the Medes and Persians, but also is examining the relevance of the scriptures to the current times. Many of the events of the past point to the news occurring in United States today. Scripture is a roadmap for preparing for living in today’s world.

If you are interested in the technical tools that we use to enhance worship, this class is for you! We will be studying what the New Testament says about worship and we will also be learning the sound, video, and lighting systems used in the Worship Center and in the Childrens building. We will be producing creative videos, building sets, and using lighting to enhance worship. If you have an interest or experience with sound, video, lighting, photography, set building, or computers, I hope you will join us!

This class is a verse by verse study of I and II Peter. This book was written to believers who were experiencing persecution and trials. That makes it very practical because all of us face times when we go through the fire and our faith is put to the test. Peter teaches us in this book that we face those difficult times with the greatest hope in the world: That Jesus is in our lives now and for all eternity.
